two wifi extenders Hi All I have an orange livebox Play (3) and two wi fi extenders 200mbts, which I need as I live in a large house with thick stone walls. When I plug in both, they stop working or clash. One is fine and works with my livebox password, the second one shows up as a wifi extender and asks for a password. Livebox password does not work and I typed in the extender password as indicated on the back and it makes a connection but does not let me access the internet. Any suggestions please? Internet lag sometimes Hey guys, sometimes my internet lags if I open like 2 websites at once, refresh a server list on Minecraft too fast or something. "network accounts are unavailable" on new mac mini with 10.8.4 I need a hand here. I've got an on-going issue that I can't seem to resolve. I'll apologize in advance for the lack of correct technology terminology. I work at a high school that is about 80/20 split with 80% Mac's and 20% HP's. We are in the process of getting new equipment in and I'm sort of in charge of setting it up etc. The first issue I have is with a fleet of MacMini's we just got in. I set the admin account up, went into system preferences and bound it to the network etc. all works great. Now, a week or so later I'm getting calls on these Mini's that when a user goes to log on they get a red dot next to name and a message appears "Network Accounts Unavailable". Very odd pc gaming issue when cable is plugged in, wireless is ok When I use wireless I get massive lag issues, sometimes it runs smoothly somedays and others its just unplayable A friend who had the same found plugging in his cable straight from the modem solved this I did the same and when the cable is plugged in I can't even connect to game servers The easiest game to test this with is arma as you can't even connect without the anti cheat having a connection to you I do get as far as th game lobby and after 30 seconds with the cable connected to my pc I get kicked as it can't connect to the game, however an interesting thing is if I pull out the cable and activate wireless I get an instant connectik to the game but my ping goes way up, I then test this again by disabling wireless and putting in the cable and I lose connection to the game Oddly when I 2013-06-11 14:52:56 Like Similar
Error Mapping Drive...."Device attached to the system.... I have a Mac Server with a Drobo as a Network share. When I try and map it as a drive in Windows 7 I keep getting 'Device attached to the system is not functioning' this happens when I use either the full server name or the IP address. Sometimes It'll prompt me for a username and password, I'll login as Admin then I'll get the message again. I've attempted to map it with Net Use but I get errors 59 or 1709. I've checked the Security Policies which I have it set to 'Send LM & NTLM - use NTLMv2 session security if negotiated' and the only Firewall turned on is the default Windows one I can't see anything under Eventvwr as such so I'm unsure what to do next Any suggestions? 2013-06-11 14:32:09 Like Similar
How to save e-mail message in WLM for senind as 'Attachment?' Hi: Windows 7 with WLM 2012 Unlike Outlook Express in XP, it's quite confusing to save two different e-mail messages in WLM for sending as 'Attachment.' is it a connection problem? Most of the time when i start up my computer like when i log on and go on Google Chrome, Firefox or IE... it takes a while to connect ( at least a minute)... i have a wireless connection........ TP Link Router Help Hi, I need to be able to communicate from my PC on the LAN (10.16.xx.xx) to a PLC / HMI is a furnace which have a 192.168.xx.xx type address and communicate with each other via a switch. I was hoping to use static routing on a router (TP Link TL-R402M) to allow me to connect with the PLC. I have tried a few options but I am unable to ping. Please see attached for a layout and an example routing. Do I need more than one routing defined ? The internet is selectively working. Hi. We had internet problems, but now they are half solved. Our computers connect to the network, and the internet works. Our Xbox does as well. Our phones, though, connect to the network but refuse to waves the internet through wi-fi. It's three different phones of different models, so the phones shouldn't be the problem. PC Upgrade Advice - all welcome Hello, im thinking of starting to upgrade my pc to prepare for the next generation of games. I know this transaction will take a while but i want to start now to avoid having to pay out a large sum in one day. The problem is everything I know about computers is self taught, I am more that efficient with computers but could really do with some help in just figuring out the best place to start and whats most important for me to be able to support next-gen games and run them well. I'm use to playing on High graphics but am seeing frequently more games i find it difficult to push to its limits. any advice welcome, thank you. Craftsman Lawn Mover starting problems I have a Craftsman 917377651 self propelled mower with a Tecumseh carb. The mower starts fine but won't stay running more than a few seconds. If I press wth primer button and keep it pressed in it will keep running. I have tried cleaning the carb. Have taken it apart and sprayed gunk removal on all parts. I took of the brass screw, cleaned out with a wire all the small holes but nothing with get it running properly. My guess is the brass trottle plate on the top of carb that is held by the wire rod that goes to the connector (not sure what it is called) is causing the problem. It seems to float in and out while running. Could the spring be damaged causing that part to not work properly? Cannot shutdown computer and cannot access HDD, flash drive or internet!!! Recently my computer started having these problems: Could not access Microsoft or antivirus websites. Connecting a flash drive would mean that shortcuts, .exe and Recycler files would be copied. It would reappear seconds after deletion. What I did: Downloaded anti-malware bytes and scanned and deleted all viruses found-Trojans, Virus Ramnits. Downloaded Comodo internet Security 2013-Its still on the PC. Though it cannot connect to the internet. Finally after getting frustrated, I read articles on techsupportalert.com and downloaded Kaspersky TDSSKiller and Comodo Cleaning Essentials TDSSKiller and Comodo Cleaning Essentials only detected a changed DNS host, and I repaired it. Laptop Disconnects Wifi Internet Hi all, my Acer aspire is now knocking on about 5-6 year old but is working well. However recently there has been a big problem, which is whenever I turn my laptop power on the Wifi Internet goes off. Fedora 18 Drivers for Intel DG965ry I'm trying to find the proper drivers for my fedora 18 installation on a computer with the Intel DG965ry motherboard (i know it's ancient.. :o). Water dripping sound heard at random on notebook A 'water dripping' or 'chugging sound' is heard at random on my notebook. The sound can be clearly heard even when the speakers are muted. I have been through the malware removal process on the MBAM forum and my notebook is free of malware. I was asked of the MBAM forum to record the sound in order to eliminate the remote possibility of screen hardware problems. I was unable to record the sound on my mobile and do not have any external audio devices to record the sound. We got a bit stuck at the point. I am hoping you guys can shed some light on the problem? USB to ethernet adapter. Currently i am connected via wireless sierra modem with no problems. I would like to add a firewall via a router, butb it requres ethernet connection (sockets) but the sierra modem is USB> Do I simply buy a ethernet to USB adapter and connect. Using Epson CX6900F printer on Windows 8 I don't know if I am at the right place here but it is worth a try. I have just transferred from XP to Win 8 OS. I cannot get my Epson CX6900F printer to work on it. Every time I try to tell Epson about it on their specially designed form I get a stupid ad flashing over the 'continue' or 'submit' box and I cannot get past it. I have downloaded the driver OK but I need to install the software. The software disc for XP will not work on Win 8.Some items from the internet state that Win 8 does not support my printer.
