Background info: I have a WD Live (NAS) running FTP, connected to my router. Server intern ip: 192.168.178.xx Router intern ip: 192.168.178.xx Router extern ip (WAN): 94.xxx.xxx.xxx DNS: coyote.xxx.com -> 94.xxx.xxx.xxx (WAN) Ports 21, 22 and 80 are being forwarded from my WAN to server intern ip. It has worked for 6 months, trough filezilla i have been able to access my server from outside my own LAN. Even outside my own continent. But 7 days ago it stopt working. I recheckt everything. I still have the same WAN, port forwarding is working correctly. I simply cant figure out why it stopt working. Nothing has changed to my knowledge. I have windows 7 and two separate physical drives. The C drive is on first physical disk and the D drive is on the second physical disk. The C drive is almost full and I need to make the drive larger. Is it possible expand C drive by merging its contents onto un used space onto D drive? Years ago I believe Partition Magic 8 would do this, but Partition Magic 8 is not compatible with Windows 7. All replies, suggestions, info welcomed! Aaron
I have tried numerous programs to help with organizing and correcting photo's. I have not been happy with them and have now downloaded Photo Gallery/Movie Maker. I like the ease of everything; but for the life of me I cannot print in color? Any idea's what the big dummy is doing wrong? I think I am experiencing a brain fart:(
Hey! I have a D-Link Router and recently I lost connection on my iPod (doesn't matter anymore) so I reseted the router and now everything is okay. I wanted to set up the router again to protect it from other people. As I was setting it up, at the end, all I see is a message saying that it was unsuccessful. I made sure that the PIN and the settings are good, tried restarting my computer, but nothing seems to work! Please help me guys :/
Hey Guys, I recently had to replace a hard drive in my HP Proliant server. It is part of a Raid 0 so it should have been hot swapable. I just have this funny feeling that it didn't mirror itself automatically. HP comes with a SMH(system management homepage) that will tell me the health of all things involving the server. I have downloaded everything but the HP agent because it look like hp stopped producing this download for people to use. Hi guys, I'm doing a quick edit on a static HTML page for one of our sites and I can't seem to get the text to line up with the image in the table that I created. I was wondering if anyone can give me an idea as to what in the heck I'm doing wrong. The image Issue is the picture of the page I'm editing and how the text is formated. I have an old Windows XP. Only the PC closest connected with the Wi-Fi box is working which is how i'm using this computer on the internet right now. None of the wireless devices will connect to the internet. Try and explain a solution like i'm five years old, if possible. :p
All of a sudden my CD player will not play any kind of CD, that is pre-recorded (bought) CDs or ones I have burned myself. Does this automatically mean that the player has developed a hardware fault, or is there any other possible answer? The CDs are recognised as being there, but do not play.
I've never owned one, but I'm thinkng of getting one. My question is this: To my understanding, a laser beam burns text into the paper, which means no extra costs (such as ink carts). However, everywhere I see them sold online, they also have replacement "toner" carts. What are these mysterious toner carts and why do I need them? Can't a laser printer "just work" without needing extras?

Hello, im having a serious problem with my laptop and would greatly appreciate any help. My hp compaq (windows vista) was working and booting up fine a couple of days ago, i went to use it and when i opened it the system was still shutting down from when i used it a couple of days age (i must of closed it before it had finished!!), it finished closing down and i went to restart it, it booted up to the password screen, entered my password, the password box disappears and looks as if it is loading but it just stays on the blue screen (with the blue vista pattern on), however it will load in safe mode! I have tried numerous times to see if it will load in "normal" mode, i have tried leaving it for hours just to see if it loads but nothing, i have tried system restore which it did, but still o
Is there any way available to move or transfer the .olm files stored in mac outlook 2011 to windows outlook 2007 which supports .pst file format. I have bought a new windows laptop and i want to transfer all my work based emails to windows outlook 2007. I have a mac book air in which there are plenty of emails all hassled up from my work and other stuff, so all i want is to separate these emails and keep the windows system for work and the mac one for other stuff. I have separated the emails in outlook 2011 in my mac but now i am not getting any way to move these emails or you can say mail boxes to windows outlook 2007. Waiting for some simple and helpful solutions. Thank you.
Those darn Push Pin Locks on the HSF that hold it to the mobo. I have searched and searched but cannot find new ones anywhere. Over the years I now have several HSF's in a box because the little clear plastic ears on the push pin locks broke off. The HSF's are fine, just don't have the Push Pin Locks to hold them down. I ended up having to buy new HSFs because I couldn't fine any of those PPL's. So, again, I have another HSF that is loose on the CPU/MOBO because of the little plastic ears breaking. Does anybody know where I could get a dozen or so of those PPL's to have on hand when one breaks or stretches out too much? If you have another idea other than the PPL's please let me know. Hi All I would like to know - I have a network with 2 Domains - The one is running on 192.169.32.x (domain PC) and the other is running on 192.169.34.x (Server). Now I connect to the server with a remote desktop connection. Both the domains are on the same network. I want to know how I can connect from the Server(192.169.34.x) to my local PC that I am connecting to VIA the remote connection. So basically I want to open a folder, from the server, to copy stuff from the server to my pc(on 192.169.32.x). I tried using \\192.169.32.x\\c$ and it gives me a username and password option, but it does not work... Basically I do not want to copy stuff from the server to my PC via the Remote Desktop application, but I want to drop them, from the remote server, to a folder on my PC. How do I do that?
Hey All, In the new version of Adobe Reader. (I think 10) there is an annoying like Task Pane that is similar to Office 2003 when you open it up and it's got wording on how to convert a file to PDF only to than say you have to pay for it. Anyway, how do you turn off this Pane, which is more of a "Pain" than a "Pane?" I want to be able to see PDF files without the sidebar like Adobe Reader used to show. How do you turn off that right panel? Will it stay off? Jack

I have acquired a vintage keyboard ( musical instrument: a sampler called the MIrage ) that requires its operating system on a floppy disk in order to boot up and operate the keyboard I have downloaded all necessary files including the OS and sound banks to load into it once the unit boots with its OS. I am having an issue as the OS is in the form of a .bin file I need to make a boot OS Floppy ( the kybrd is from late 80s) All i have are XP machines and also a 2 W7 pc's Fortunately I had a floppy drive laying around and installed it into an XP dsktp and it is working fine. Hi all Tech Gurus & Saviors I am using IDriveSync for online backup and storage. and through referrals I have earned total space of 24 GB. Problem is, the desktop application has stopped working i.e. it is unable to connect to Internet. I contacted their online support, they probed my system using teamviewer, but problem still persists. When I try to connect the application, it displays the message that " the firewall maybe blocking the application". I am using Windows 7 Home premium on my Presario CQ56. I am not using any third party firewall, only windows firewall, and the programs executables are already in the allowed list of firewall. I am using Avast free edition, and I even disabled it and the firewall and tried to connect, but of no help. Can any tech guru help me. Regards Yasir Te
