Hello friends need help with dgca cpl conversion regulation. I have my canadian cpl which i need to convert to my indian cpl. I started my flying in 2007 amg as from dgca lic conversion flowchart saying regulation of 200 hrs flying in preceding 5yrs. About 125 hrs of flying would lapsed by end of march 2013. But confusion is some friends say that all i need is current canadian cpl and recency to get indian lic. Called dgca but got no good answer on that. Bcoz if the 200 hrs preceding 5 yrs regulation is on i need to get my flying done asap before rest of my flying get lapsed. Can anyone here help me with thid issue.

Reading ATC and AFT notes AFT says stall EAS increases due to stall occurring at lower AoA at altitude as compressibility causes airflow disruption. ATC says stall EAS remains the same as stall AoA is constant. So I guess the question is according to casa does stall AoA always remain constant? Does anyone have a good online reference for getting my head around the constant Mach what's happens to tas or ias type questions.
Recently bought a Blackvue DR400 G dash cam. Installation was a breeze. Went for a test drive with good results. Part of the software on the PC allows you to see where you went on Google maps. So far so good. I deleted the video files that were the result of my test drive. Following another drive I replayed the new journey and got a warning message as follows: This web site needs a different Google Maps API key. A new key can be generated at http://code/google.com/apis/maps/doc...# Obtaining_Key Went there, did that and generated a new key. Nowhere does it say what to do with it, and nowhere on the Blackvue forums is this problem mentioned. Without this key, the google map viewer simply shows a white screen. Ciao a tutti, sono fresco di ATPL Frozen, finito da qualche mese, ora l'idea era di prendere anche il rating di FI per mettere su qualche ora. Visto che come sappiamo in europa ha dei costi abbastanza alti, specie dopo un ATPL, l'idea era quella di andare in America a fare il corso. La questione sarebbe questa, dovrei andare e ovviamente anche lavorare per pagarmi questo corso e vitto e alloggio, quindi le domande sono: Che tipo di visto potrei richiedere considerando che dovrei sia studiare che lavorare, quindi anche qualcosa che mi permetta di restare qualche mese se non un anno? Qualcuno ha avuto esperienza e sa consigliarmi in che scuola andare? Ci sono possibilità di trovare poi la come instructor? I've just been reading up on this crash which happened in my local area and have a few queries. Bear in mind I don't have sight of the offical accident report and it's not on the AIB website. Recap: This Britannia was on a test flight (flight no. ?) and was attempting to land at Hurn (now Bournemouth) Airport in fog. The crash was attributed to an error in which the altimeter height was misread by 10,000ft. Queries: 1) Why was it heading for Hurn when it was known to be affected by fog as well as Heathrow from where it departed? The BOAC maintenance facility at Hurn had long since departed so it can't be for that reason. 2) From it's crash location of Sopley park, now Moorlands College, it would appear to have been heading approx. The recently appointed CEO of Iran Aseman Airlines has got off to an interesting start by declaring to London's Financial Times that the average age of aircraft in his airlines fleet is "only 10 years", despite the fact that it's closer to 20. To quote from the Financial Times article: "Mr Babaei said the average age of his fleet of 31 aircraft was only 10 years, despite the sanctions imposed on the country". Hi Guys! im new here! :p anyway, im a graduating student of PATTS College of Aeronautics majoring in BS AMT. So here goes, im looking for a flying school that i will be to proceed to be an Airline Pilot. I stumbled upon AAG Phils and researched about it and it seems to be a nice place. They have an A320 sim as all of you know already. Also, when i was driving through Domestic road, i saw a banner saying WCC A320 Simulator which is located in Gen Av. Has anybody heard of their sim? i googled them and discovered that they're flying school is located in pangasinan but the A320 sim is in Pasay. Need your thoughts on this. All i need now are your thoughts on them. I am desperate for advices. AAG is my top choice and next is OMNI then FAST. Please help me on this matter. thank you in adv

According to FCL.205.A, you can fly TMG with a PPL(A): "FCL.205.A PPL(A) — Privileges (a) The privileges of the holder of a PPL(A) are to act without remuneration as PIC or co-pilot on aeroplanes or TMGs engaged in non-commercial operations." However, in various places in CAP804 and Part-FCL a "TMG rating" is mentioned, even in conjunction with a PPL(A).
