Ciao a tutti.
I just registered because I thought that maybe some people would like to know my experience about the Euro American School of Aviation in Florida. I just got back with a PPL and am satisfied about my stay there. I have been there for about 6 weeks and spend around 10 000 euro for about 57 hours (airplane ticket and visa costs not included). I have seen some threads about Fly Easa that made me concerned about the quality of the flight school. I went there because of the price and to to finish my PPL quickly. Housing: The housing is what I expected to be. I had a shared room. Dont expect luxury, it is very basic. I stayed at sugar creek road number 7. When I started there were 6 people in the house There are 4 rooms from which one is private I think. In each is a bed and a closet and that
I've been reliably informed by an ex-colleague in Darwin that AV8 has finally gone under. Before we start with the positive/negative comments, can anyone confirm?
Rolls-Royce's BR710/715 has been in service with Bombardier and Gulfstream for nearly two decades, and the BR725 is due to enter service with Gulfstream soon. RR are also developing a BR700NG, which I believe is based on the BR710. Does this new engine have an airframe customer? There's no mention on Google, RR website or anywhere.
RNZAF Pilot awarded Gallantry medal while on RAF exchange Ben Pryor: Gallantry Medal With bullets kicking up dust in front of him and insurgent rounds pinging off his helicopter cockpit, every fibre in Flight Lieutenant Ben Pryor’s body told him to flee. But the Royal Air Force mission depended on him. As did the crack British troops who’d already been dropped into the "hot" drop-zone close to the insurgent’s fortified compound. So the Auckland father-of-two fought his internal urges and stayed firm. After abandoning his first approach where his cockpit was hit three times, the now-Squadron Leader took his Chinook at the lead of an eight-ship air assault back into the intense enemy machinegun fire, later described by colleagues as "a river of tracer coming at our aircraft". Showing "re
Has anyone actually done the TR and Line Training with 500 hours and NEVER got a job afterwards? There seems to be new LT programs popping up everyday from different agencies and airlines. P2F is far from being on the way out!! I appreciate people commenting on who was successful securing a Pilot job after Line Training as well as people who weren't successful in securing a job after LT. Thanks!
Grazie in anticipo! DD
Hello, I saw one from CBT. Captain put both throttles to TOGA after fire warning. At 400 checklist were performed engine secured. Is it usual practice? If that engine is still working like fuel leak on fire, oil leak, bleed air problem ect. selecting full power should make fire more intensive or maybe engine explosion? I also assume A320 doesn't have engine fire memory item checklist.

Miei cari amici. Grazie! Fly Safe DOVE
I understand EASA came into effect around 17th September. Hours done towards an EASA CPL based in the UK, can they be transferred to another EASA school around Europe? Also can the licence be issued by the UK CAA. I took the ATPL theory and class one medical at Gatwick.
Geoff Wakeham - ex PO A (Met) at Culdrose and the Air Station's official historian - sadly passed away on Sunday 7 April after losing his battle with brain tumours. A life-long resident of Helston who spent almost all of his professional career at Culdrose in Met and Ops, Geoff became Culdrose's official historian, authoring two books of his own on the subject as well as providing much help and advice to others along the way. I'm sure there are those on here who will have come across him at some stage and who would therefore appreciate notification of his funeral details: Thursday 18 April, 11am. Treswithian Downs Crematorium Puggis Hill Camborne Cornwall TR14 0BL All are welcome to attend. His family have requested no flowers, but all donations to St Julia's Hospice in Hayle are
Ciao a tutti, Come da titolo vorrei sapere gentilmente dai piloti professionisti basati in Italia se eventualmente conoscete qualche bravo avvocato in materia x ambiti internazionali. The fee required to be paid is Rs.2500/- per paper in the case of ONLINE Computer Based Examination (General Papers – all categories) and Rs.500/- per paper in the case of OMR Based Examination (Technical Papers) and ATPL - Oral Examination of 2nd and 3rd attempt. Fee for the first attempt of the ATPL - Oral Examinations are covered under the respective papers of ONLINE Computer Based Examination (General Papers) and payment of separate fee is not required. Refer this link - http://www.dgca.nic.in/admit/Instruc...r il%202013.pdf What the heck man !! Its a hell load of money - Rs. 2,500 per exam. We ain't big shot, at least not me. why DGCA is screwing around with the happiness of already ripped off unemployed pilots who want to appear for ATPL Examinations. Disgusting!!! :ugh:
Very sad story. Just a reminder, all of you, to take a bit of extra care. British airline stewardess Evelyn Clarke dies after falling from high-rise building in Dubai - Home News - UK - The Independent
Mvh Rasmus :)

April 2013 onwards, fees for examination is revised to Rs 2500 per paper. I think it is ridiculous. Increasing the fees 5 times is ridiculous. http://udaan.nic.in:8080/udaan/showF...y 2Weylh7VqsAlP
