Back again and will lose for good

Hi all,
I'm back again for good and I don't thin I will go back to my bad eating habit. 3 years ago I did Lipotrim and I managed to lose 3 st, could not keep it off, I gained 2 st back. Now I decided to lose 5 st in total. Please wish me luck.

Refusing food when offered

I have mentioned before that I am working through Judith Beck's "The Beck Diet Solution" in parallel with my Exante diet, and I know that some of you have also been reading this book. I have now reached Day 29, and I can't help disagreeing with today's message. What I can't decide is whether this is a "sabotaging thought", or whether the book is just plain wrong! So I thought I'd ask you lovely Exante-ers for your thoughts.
I have no problem with the general principle that we should resist what the book rather ungraciously calls "food pushers" by refusing the food they offer, regardless of the effort they have put into preparing it. But I can't help disagreeing with one of the central arguments. The book says that it we are entitled to work towards our weight loss goals as long as we aren'

tesco pasta and sauce

Have succumbed to the quickness of pasta and sauce with salad for lunch and got a few in. Got some Batchelors and some Tesco. What is the syn value of the Tesco ones are they free on extra easy. Thanks

the *oh dear* week lol

well, i started potty training my son (hurray!) and hes on day 9 and uses the potty confidently, only issue now is pants.. lmao he cant pull them down properly so im running around with the potty, spare pants, anti bac spray and a cloth(lol its like i need a mammys emergancy belt lol) watching him you guys no the drill lol. well, im pretty good during the day, meals fast and filling but once it hits 7pm(sons bed time) its been to easy to relax with some of his malted milks or custard creams. resulting in a 1lb gain (ooops lol) :o
so, to anyone out there how do you combat your habits after an exhausting day when all you wanna do is sit infront of the tv and switch off... lol:rolleyes:

New Here, but not to dieting

Hello all,
First of all I have to say that I love the name of this forum, it's so apt. I am 44 and am the heaviest I have ever been at 24 stone. I have lost weight before, 6 years ago I lost 8 stone in less than a year. I really overdid it exercising, sometimes doing 2 hours a day or more. It's not something I could keep up. Then I lost my mum, my health took a turn for the worse and over time I gained back that 8 stone plus an extra 1 stone as well. My health is still bad and exercising is nearly impossible, so this time my diet will have to be taken slowly. Hopefully the longer it takes the more I will make a lifestyle change and keep the weight off. I MEAN IT THIS TIME :)

500 Calories Flossyfee Juddders Along

So I've been on weight watchers for 2 weeks. I lost 3.5lbs the first week and 3lbs the second week. I like WW but as I only get 26 daily points I've stuggled not to dip in to my weekly point allowance everyday and I like to save them for a few drinks and a treat at the weekend. So, I'm hopping JUDDD will help me have more control.
I've heard so many great things about intermittent fasting, so I thought why the heck not give it a go.
I'm using fitnesspal to track my calories
Day one
2 hard boiled eggs with 70% less salad cream = 173 cals
A Subway salad bowl. Turkey & Ham no cheese with sweet onion sauce = 164 cals
1hard boiled egg with 70% less salad cream. A cadburys highlight hot chocolate & 1 weight watchers double chocolate chip cookie =165 cals
Total 502 cals
Today wasn't too bad.

Hi peeps, ive been good all day and just came home and heated up a chicken soup and what did i find....BREAD f#####g BREAD i LOVE bread.i had 1 small rounds and to top it off i had a wrap as well.
Im on day 12 and these past few days i have been struggling,ive been picking and now this is just taking the biscuit LITRALLY!
What shall i do,my weigh in is on Thursday and i feel sooo guilty!
Do u think i should start to re-feed after thursday or keep going abit longer?

Hey, I'm new to all this but have been on slimming world before and lost two stone. Unfortunately, I put the weight back on when I started Uni.. Cheap food and all that! Does anyone know of any low price recipes for EE that will suit my budget? Any help is appreciated thanks!!

My wedding dress journey!

Hi all,
Just started SW last week and it's my first weigh in tomorrow. Now usually I would be expecting a nice loss first week but I cam straight off another diet into this, am on my period and I never managed to stick to it even in my first week! am so annoyed with myself as can't afford to lose money or not lose the stone and a half I want to lose for my big day. Have been struggling since January to lose anything and what I did lose I put back on and then some :( lots of excuses I know but am hoping meeting some friends on here and sharing experiences will be the extra support to motivate me to success!
I will post my first week weigh in, but as I say not expecting much!

First week back on Exante

Completed my first week restarting Exante and I've lost 10.75 lbs :D:D:D
Not had too bad a week. Feeling a bit run down with a virus but managed to stick to it all week with the exception of switching one pack of shakes on saturday evening for a 51cal Weightwatchers soup because I was far too cold to stand yet another shake. Bought the mixed pack so looking forward to having something warm at least once a day from tomorrow
Aiming for 100% this week and hopefully another good loss

Really sore throat!

Hi everyone, just wondering if there is anything I can take for a sore throat? Had a really sore throat since Saturday and its beginning to annoy me now, not sure if I can have strepsils etc...
Have tried drinking more as I think I was a little dehydrated looking at the keto stick colour.

Could Exante drink powder kicked me out of ketosis???

Could 1.5L of water mixed with 4 teaspoons of the peach drink powder (out of a total 4L water I had yesterday) kick me out of ketosis? I was suddenly really hungry this afternoon - am 5 weeks in - so it occurred to me, 'am I out of ketosis?' I just did a ketostix test and it isn't registering any ketosis at all. The only thing I can think of is the big bottle of peach drink I had? I did eat a baked chicken breast with half a sachet of Thai chicken soup, but that shouldn't have done it. Hope this doesn't affect my weigh-in tomorrow! :wave_cry:

Step 1 Sole Source Advice needed!

Hi guys,
My husband has been offered a job in America, which he has accepted and we will be moving there in a weeks time. I've managed to finally stick to SS and get down to 10st7lb but what will I do when I get there? As this is so sudden I don't have time to go up the steps and taking cambridge products with me is not an option right now.
If I slowly introduce foods and continue with the gym over there will that prevent weight gain? I've always read/been told that going up the steps is the key to maintenance so I feel like if I don't go up the steps I'll gain weight regardless
of what I do. I really don't want to put on ANY weight, it's been so hard to lose it so I can't deal with weight gain.
Would love some feedback and advice, I really don't know what to do.

I thought is would be a good idea if all us CWP members created a a recipe book, I will manage the book and add all your recipes to it.
So what do you think???
I would want recipe, type of CWP plan the recipe is for, cals, what category the recipe should be listed under and the most important bit of all the owner of the recipe.
The recipe book would be in alphabetical order by starters, snacks, mains, evening meal etc you decide which category you want your receipe under.
Not sure if I could attach the recipe book to the site, or via messages so if this isnt possible then I could email it out on a regular basis..

Tassimo Costa Latte??

Hi, just wondering if anyone has a tassimo machine and uses the costa pods?
And if the latte milk pods would count as Hex A?
I don't really use my A choice much but I do like a proper latte! :)

I'm wondering if I have something at 65 calories (3.5 syns) and something at 45 calories (2.5 syns) adding up to 110 in total can I count it as 5.5 syns as a total ? Or would it have to be counted seperate at 6 syns ?

Kee diet to slim and save

Hi all, I've started the Kee diet today, which is 4 135 calorie shakes a day, it's more expensive than the slim and save diet so I'm going to switch to that next week. Is there much difference? I know slim and save is 3 products, but are the calories higher? Or will I be dropping more calories next week?
