Shocks are shot, rear bottoms out on country lanes, self-leveling air pump not working. Want to replace struts/springs but question what to do with rear. Would rather not have pump replacement expense but need to keep that rear end off the ground with riders in the back seat. Do rear springs lose compression over time? Should they be replaced too?
GM subsidiary fails to benefit from rising sales of value brands Chevrolet - General Motors' best-selling brand globally - is falling further behind rivals in Europe as the region's buyers turn their backs on the marque's aging product lineup. Chevrolet is positioned as a value-for-money brand in Europe and its Spark/Matiz minicar and Aveo subcompact account for almost half of the brand's volume. As Europe plunges deeper into economic crisis, car buyers are increasingly turning to affordable smaller vehicles - a trend that should help Chevrolet. Only it isn't. Sales of the Spark/Matiz declined 37 percent to 12,245 units from January to April, while the Aveo declined by 44 percent to 10,235, according to figures from JATO Dynamics. Steep declines of Chevy's best-selling models in Europe pus

June 7, 2013 Every 2014 Buick model – Verano, Regal, LaCrosse, Encore and Enclave – will be offered with a suite of available active safety systems that watch the front, side and rear of the vehicle to help prevent crashes. Buick will be the only brand in the industry to offer Forward Collision Alert, Lane Departure Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Side Blind Zone Warning, and a Rear Vision Camera on every vehicle. Forward Collision Alert and Lane Departure Warning are a pair of technologies that use a single forward-looking camera to read traffic and lane markers on the road ahead. Visual warnings and audible tones alert the driver to unsignaled lane changes or a slowed vehicle. Rear Cross Traffic Alert and Side Blind Zone Warning use radar to watch spots the driver may not see – and pr

There are people who believe that you can learn all about a car in a trip to the test track, but we are not among them. We believe in the road, and we don’t mean just the road to the grocery store, either. So when the 2014 Chevrolet Impala came into our hands, we started thinking about a road of some serious distance, Read more: http://www.automobilemag.com/reviews...# ixzz2VU5NRi6l http://www.automobilemag.com/reviews...a la_lake_erie/

This is completely hypothetical, so be creative with your responses. What if, instead of the Chevrolet SS being released in the US, Holden was given backing to open their own dealer network, choose their own model range, pricing and advertising. What if they released the whole VF/WM range with all AU colours and options: Commodore Evoke - sedan, ute, wagon (fleet/workhorse/rental) @ ~$28K Commodore SV6 - sedan, ute, wagon (budget sporty) @ ~$30K Commodore SS - sedan, ute, wagon (budget performance) @ ~$34K Commodore SS-V - sedan, ute, wagon (luxury performance) @ ~$38K Calais - sedan, wagon (budget luxury) @ ~$36K Calais V - sedan, wagon (luxury) @ ~$38K Caprice V - (prestige luxury) @ ~$44K What would sell at the price and why ? The Toyota RAV4 Diesel is said to be making up about 30% of RAV4 sales in Australia. Toyota RAV4 Diesel 2013: Road Test How does 6.2L/100km [37.9 mpg(US)] user experience sound for 80% highway? A possible candidate for the US?
just pulled out the 2000 z28 for the summer, after driving it for a week, i came across a 1997 lt1 z28, and really prefer the way that 1997 looked. i got the 2000 b/c of the ls1 engine (power and reliability), lower miles, and I don't really want to swap an ls1 into a 1997. but still trying to get the more "natural", aerodynamic lt1 look. i think the dash was the same for 1997 and 98-02. what would i need other than lt1 intake, lt1 hood/bumper/fender/lights? will they bolt on just fine? i could either find someone with lt1 parts or take an old lt1 car and swap the front ends and flip it for resale with the '02 front end, and then use the lt1 front end on mine. my car now: my goal (this look and ls1 power):
2015 Chevrolet Cruze MotorAuthority By Viknesh Vijayenthiran May 15, 2013 Despite only hitting the market in the 2011 model year, the Chevrolet Cruze will soon be updated with an all-new design. Prototypes for the second-generation model have been spied on several occasions and reveal many telling details about the new compact sedan. The new Cruze is expected to land in the fall of 2014, making it a 2015 model. The car will be slightly longer than the current model, with most of the increase featuring in the rear section. This should translate to more space for rear seat passengers and additional storage in the trunk. Though General Motors Company [NYSE:GM] engineers have attempted to disguise the prototype so that it resembles a Chevrolet Sonic, the car’s dimensions and what we already k

Sanchez May 14, 2013 Now that we've seen and driven the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra, it's time for their SUV cousins to take the stage. We got these spy shots of the 2015 GMC Yukon, Yukon XL Denali, and Chevrolet Tahoe out testing. They’re expected to follow the pickups to the showrooms in a few months. Despite the oval-shaped medallion in the center of the grille, there's no mistaking these testers for anything out of Dearborn. Full article and spy photos at the link
The first look at the 410 horsepower XTS. www.GMInsideNews.com May 13, 2013 By: Nick Saporito Last month during the reveal of the stunning 2014 CTS, Cadillac also announced that the 2014 XTS would be gaining twin-turbo V-6 power, but they never showed the car. While the new engine is not changing the design of the XTS, it is gaining a new front grille treatment to give the car a more aggressive look. The above photo is the first photo Cadillac has released of the 2014 XTS that features the grille that will be on the twin-turbo model. The twin-turbo engine is Cadillac's new 3.6-liter featuring 410 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque. It probably goes without saying that the powerful twin-turbo engine is only available with all-wheel drive and a six-speed automatic. In addition to the ne

I stumbled across this little tidbit from Tom Henry Racing's Camaro Homepage Article: http://www.camarohomepage.com/ls7/index. htm Buried down at the bottom of the article... That, or referring to the SS sedan (which receives the LS3, IIRC)... then again, if that were the case, how could the SS sedan get a "Camaro version" of the LT1 if the Camaro doesn't even have it? ;) Thoughts?
