The Galaxy S4 Bootloader on AT&T and Verizon has still not been unlocked, however it has been bypassed thanks to known exploiter "Djrbliss". His LOKI script bypasses the locked down bootloader to allow for custom recovery, and roms. It appears that AT&T is working on an update that will patch LOKI leaving it useless. Desisngears is responsible for this discovery. Apparently it was found in a build for the Galaxy S4 Active, but will also show up in a Galaxy S4 update soon. DjrBliss is apparently aware of the situation. Hopefully he is already working on another workaround. I can imagine that Verizon is working on a patch of their own. It took a while for me to figure out what's happening, but I'm pretty sure this describes it: I'll get a phone call, and I choose not to answer it, so it goes to voicemail. However, what the caller hears is a couple of clicks ... and nothing. No voicemail ... and they hang up. The NEXT caller immediately gets connected to my voicemail (which DOES work for them), before their call even reaches my phone: It doesn't ring, and the call doesn't show up on the RECENT list. It doesn't have anything to do with SETTINGS, I don't think. This happens infrequently ... all other calls work just the way they're supposed to. I suspect this is a bug of some kind that I have no control over, but I'd love to know if it's happening to anyone else. And if there IS a way to fix it, that would just be icing on
If you love to flash Roms and mods to your device it is always a good idea to have a stock image available for flashing incase you inadvertently flash something wrong or mess something up bricking your device. HTC has been pretty good about releasing source code and they have been pretty developer friendly especially with their developer edition devices. HTCDev recently uploaded the Stock RUU for the Developer Edition HTC One. The software version is 1.29.1540.16. If you happen to brick your device this provides a very easy way to get back to stock. You may find this hard to believe but there is a major glitch in the Google Play Store software you need to know about. Here it is: once you change your google password you will NEVER be allowed to use Google Play Store again for purchasing paid apps! Not unless you open a brand new account from scratch. That's right: something in their Google Play software will not recognize accounts once the password has been changed. You will be able to download free apps but you will never be allowed to make another purchase. I even contacted Google directly and they acknowledge the glitch. What an unbelievable inconvenience! They should warn people notnto change passwords or correct the problem. It is ridiculous that you need to start brand neew accounts every time you want a new password. Have tried

After searching for awhile, I couldn't find anything matching my issue so here goes... I sometimes receive texts that are scrambled with parts of old texts from that person. I'll read the first sentence or two and then there will be what looks like a misspelling or bad auto correct, then the rest of the text. The problem is I don't realize it's messed up and I respond to the text... Only to have the original sender think I've lost my mind ('what are you talking about?!?!') So after several texts back and forth ('you said this', 'no I didn't!') and screenshots from both phones, I finally realize that something is messed up here. Hi. I've looked through several threads about battery drain and still can't find an answer that fits my problem. My Droid x2 began showing signs of fast battery drain for a few weeks, so I bought a new battery today. The problem persists except now, my charge goes from 100% to 7% in 38 minutes. I have tried rebooting, and sometimes when I do, the indicator shows I have 40% instead of the 7% it was showing before I rebooted. I checked usage and as usual, the display and idle were using most of the charge. I downloaded an app to track CPU in real time and deleted all apps that might have been hoarding power. None of that helped. So I finally did a factory reset. That hasn't worked, and in fact, the problem is quickly getting worse. As I speak, I'm typing this with the phone hooked up to the
Hello, I've been trying to use Foxfi for wifi tether for some time now, but everytime I try to use it it gives me a hassle. It starts up fine on the phone, but whenever I try to connect to it from another device, it connects but it says it has limited connectivity, and I am unable to do anything. I'm on 4.1.2, Un-rooted. Any ideas would be awesome.
Hi, my caller id can't show incomming Name (only show numbers) despite my caller id is activated. After software update, one weird icon appear and stop my incomming Names to show up. Only show numbers and I'm not sure who is the party calling me. Even hard factory reset also can't remove the weird icon. It has bothering me for quite some time. Even latest software update did not remove it. Please help! I appreciate it :)

Anyone experienced this? My lock screen default is has my 4 favorite icons at the bottom but the top 75% of the screen is blank / my background. When I swipe across the top to the right it moves me to the screen that IS in fact my clock, name, and date... but how do I get this screen to stay as the lock default screen WITH the 4 favorite icons at the bottom!? Usually the watermark is inside of a hole or not exposed so fully. However the watermark on the s4 is right behind the battery So couldn't someone just put a piece of tape on the watermark and protect it from getting wet. Then when it gets wet, remove the tape, the watermark should be good, and take it to verizon/att and cry broken phone??? EDIT: alright so i tried this, i took off the tape, and part of the watermark came off. what i should have done was put paper in between the watermark and the tape, so the tape so does not directly contact the watermark. That way, everything would have been fine. lol

A lot of people dislike the Verizon boot animation on the Galaxy S4 including myself. So I replaced mine with the stock Samsung one that comes on other Galaxy S4 variants.
