For Sale : Arcam FMJ P25/3 channel Power Amplifier - Silver For Sale : Arcam FMJ P25/3 channel Power Amplifier - Silver

Arcam FMJ P25 3 channel power amplifier.
I bought this amp off a guy that used to work for Arcam, I believe it's a pre-production model, as such the writing isn't on the front except for where it says FMJ, the electronics are all genuine the same as all the other P25 amps, most people wouldn't notice the difference but I feel it only fair to tell you. Very good condition, some light marks. I no longer have room for it as my new sub will have external amplification.
Asking £300 (No box so would prefer collection)
Location: Nuneaton, Warwickshire, UK.
I have read the trading rules and agree to abide by them at all times until the transaction is concluded to the satisfaction of all parties involved : Yes.

Call of Duty Ghosts confirmed

Call of Duty: Ghosts Confirmed For Wii U - Wii U News @ Nintendo Life
Activision is remaining quiet on the Call of Duty: Ghosts front for the Wii U. In April, retailers leaked a supposed new Call of Duty title, and had listed several platforms including the Wii U.
The company officially announced the game last month, but didn't have any news on a release for the Wii U, as it would announce next generation information at a later stage.
During a stage show on GameSpot yesterday, Infinity Ward executive producer Mark Rubin confirmed that there is indeed a Wii U version of Call of Duty: Ghosts, but
wanted to "keep it mysterious".
That’s probably in the next-gen bin, but we’re not actually talking about Wii U yet. ‘Cause we want to keep it mysterious.
It was said that the game will launch on t

Sky+ HD Optical TOS 5.1 Long Distance Run

Hi there,
Setting up a new house and I am distributing Sky+ HD from living room to the rest of the house. I have already run HDMI and Coax for HD signals and TV Link but I want to run surround sound audio to one room.
Sky+ HD Box
(Split Optical 2 ways)
1st Input: 5.1 Amp in living room (<1m away)
2nd input: 7.1 Amp in garden outbuilding (40m away)
I want to know if
THIS
40m optical cable will sustain the signal for the full length
- What splitter to buy to provide a 2nd output on Sky+ HD box
- If Coax (WF100) or optical is better to use for the long run
- If I need to amplify the optical/coax signal somewhere
Any help would be appreciated,
Thanks

Help: Hate the motion on my LED TV. Help me choose a different model!

I come from a CRT background, and I recently bought a 32" Panasonic E6B. The static picture quality is fantastic, but I can't stand the motion blurring. Unfortunately there don't seem to be many options to get around this, certainly not without spending more money. I am happy in every other respect with the Panasonic, so it's a bit frustrating too.
As I see it, the options are to buy a more expensive LED with frame interpolation, or buy a plasma, ideally from John Lewis (where my current TV is from). Unfortunately there aren't that many well specced 32" TV's, and I think a plasma might be too big for my room.
I have narrowed it down to two choices however:
Samsung F6800 - Has motion interpolation, but I don't know how the IQ compares in other respects. Don't like the design, GUI looks 'lou

Samsung c8000 3d led tv

(1) I bought my Samsung ue c8000 led 3D TV in December 2010 .only recently i found that it was having problems with it intermittently not switch on by remote or the button on the TV . for me to be able to switch it on i would have to switch it off from the mains plug and then switch it on again to watch it.
(2) when you switch it off the Samsung logo should slowly dim away and should switch off but sometimes it doesn't do that either .
i have made a recording of the problem so that i can show the engineer the problem when he comes . The engineer came i showed the video and took the tv away.when the TV arrived at the service center i rang them to find out they said to me that they have only had it for a day and i said shall i send the video of it to you to diagnose the problem they said no

BT HH4 - extending wifi range

Hi - I am a BB customer. Can't get Infinity where I am
have upgraded to HH4 - doesn't provide any better wifi range than HH3 for anyone that's thinking of it :-(
Have a stone house with thick walls HH4 doesnt reach top rooms and kitchen
Have added two Netgear WN3000P Universal Wifi extenders to try and reach to other parts of the house.
Changed the name of the HH4 wifi from the BT assigned/supplied BT_C123 to a 'real name'
Changed the name of the extenders from _EXT to the SAME name as the 'real name'
Now neither of the extenders work well and connections keep dropping - do they share bandwidth etc or impede each other? Do I need to keep _EXT suffixes. Can I use multiple extenders anyway?
Also the assigned 'BT_C123' (ie the one it came with out of the box) still appears in network choices

Samsung 40F6400: Jagged Edges on PS3 Games

Are the jagged edges present in my PS3 game a symptom of certain types of televisions? My co-worker says he doesn't get them.
What I've tried: playing with contrast and sharpness, confirming that the TV resolution matches the game's, smoothing feature on PS3.
What sort of television do I need to look for to eliminate the possibility of jagged lines in video games? I don't care how much I need to spend. I thought $900 was paying top-dollar for a 40" televison.

projector lift installation joist problem

Hi all,
I'm thinking of installing a projector lift ... my ceiling is 8 inch deep which the pure theatre lifts fit perfectly... but the depth of the mount I need is bigger than the available space between my two joists.
What are my options? Keeping in mind that I don't have access to the ceiling from the top floor but only from the basement.

Home Cinema With Wireless Rear Speakers

I have a Panasonic SA-BX500 home cinema amp with the optional wireless rear surround SH-FX71, running on a 50" Panasonic Plasma, Panasonic 3D blu-ray player, Ps3 (soon to be Ps4), Sky Hd
Which works great, the problem is I've been looking around at other amps (Because Panasonic haven't updated their amps for ages) like some Onkyo that have 6 Hdmi sockets, Internet radio, on screen GUI and renamble Hdmi ports, but I would like to use the Kef 5.1 speaker set-up I have at present. But there seems to be no wireless kits for these amps.
I have heard of a product from Rocketfish that I think will work (not sure if there are other makes available), but can't seem to find anything for sale in the UK?
The other thing I thought of was selling my amp, speakers and blu-ray player and getting this SC-B

Rotel RA-930AX fault

I use an old Rotel RA-930AX on my PC to play my Flac files withan MAudio soundcard. Although this amp isn't an audiophiles choice, it has been a good old workhorse and given me good sound for my old ears.
However of late it has developed a fault where a channel just goes missing and/or crackles. I can usually fix this by playing with the switches by turning one one and off rapidly. I assume the switch is dirty and have tried to fix it with dust cleanner from Maplins. But it doesn't seem to fix it for long if at all.
Any suggestions how I can get into the switches or could the fault lie elsewhere.
