you can't buy a good bike if you can't ride it fast, the quality if your bike should be proporcional to your FTP 200w FTP = 750$ bike 250w FTP = 1000$ bike 300w FTP = 1500$ bike 350w FTP = 2000$ bike 400w FTP = 3000$ bike 400w+ FTP = any bike if you do this you will never be humiliated by someone riding a hybrid bike.
